How we work

What happens after you sign.

Exactly how we run your paid media, from the first call to your 90-day review, and what you’ll get from us every week and every month.

(01) The first 90 days

From first call to 90-day review.

The plan we follow with every media management client. The detail changes with your channels and goals; the order doesn’t, because fixing tracking and wasted spend before scaling is what stops budget disappearing.

  1. Before we start

A call, then a clear scope

A relaxed call with the founder about your business, goals, margins and current accounts. If paid media is a good fit, you get a written scope: channels, priorities, targets and the fee, before anything is signed. If it isn’t a fit, we’ll say so.

  2. Weeks 1–2

Set up and fix the foundations

You give us access to your ad accounts and analytics, and they stay in your name. We set up conversion tracking from scratch if it’s missing, or check it and fix what’s broken, then agree targets from your margins, so the platforms optimise towards profit.

  3. Weeks 3–4

Launch and take the quick wins

New or cleaned-up campaigns go live. Wasted spend, missing negative keywords and settings that leak budget are usually the first fixes. They free up money before we scale anything.

  4. Month 2

    Test and learn

Structured tests on campaigns, audiences and creative, with creative advice on what to make and test next. Weekly optimisation keeps budget moving to what’s working.

  5. Month 3

    Scale what works

Budget shifts to the campaigns that hit your targets, and we finish the quarter with a 90-day review: what worked, what didn’t and the plan for the next three months.

We’re AI-native: AI speeds up our research, creative testing and reporting, and a senior specialist makes every decision.

(02) The rhythm

What you get, and when.

Reports focus on the numbers your business runs on (sales, leads, profit, new customers and MER) and on what your ads genuinely add. See a sample weekly report.

Every week

A jargon-free report on sales, leads, profit and MER: what moved, why, and what we’re doing about it. Search terms, bids, budgets, audiences and creative reviewed.

Every month

A call to go through results and agree the roadmap: priorities, tests and targets for the month ahead.

Any time

Your own live daily dashboard to check whenever you like, and direct access to the person running your account.

(03) Your side

What we’ll need from you.

Not ready for ongoing management? Start with a fixed-price paid audit, or get senior input for your own team through consultancy.

To get started

  • Access to your ad accounts, Google Analytics, Tag Manager and (for retailers) Merchant Center
  • Your margins, or what a sale or lead is worth to you
  • Brand guidelines and any existing ads, photos and video
  • One person on your side who can answer questions and sign off changes
  • For lead generation: what happens to leads after they arrive, ideally from your CRM

Who owns what

Your ad accounts, tracking and data stay in your name. We work inside them with the access you grant. Programmatic is the one exception: it runs on our StackAdapt account, and the media is invoiced to you at cost. Ad spend on every other platform is paid directly by you.

(04) FAQ

Working with Brightpace.

01How does working with a paid media agency work?

At Brightpace it starts with a call and a written scope. In the first two weeks we get access to your accounts and set up or fix tracking; in weeks three and four campaigns go live and the quick wins are made; month two is structured testing; and month three is scaling what works, ending with a 90-day review. Throughout, you get a weekly report and a monthly call.

02What happens on the first call?

A relaxed conversation with the founder about your business, goals, margins and current accounts. There’s no hard sell: if paid media is a good fit you get a written scope with the channels, priorities, targets and fee; if it isn’t, we’ll tell you.

03How long before I see results?

Search campaigns can bring in sales or leads within days, and fixing wasted spend often helps straight away. A steady, efficient cost per sale or lead usually takes a few weeks of data and testing, which is why we plan the first 90 days and review them together at the end.

04What access do you need?

Access to your ad accounts, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and, for retailers, Merchant Center. Everything stays in your name. You add us as a user, and you can remove access at any time. Programmatic is the exception: it runs on our StackAdapt account.

05How often will I hear from you?

You get a plain-English report every week, a call every month to agree the roadmap, a live daily dashboard you can check any time, and direct access to the person running your account in between.

06Do you make changes without asking?

Day-to-day optimisation (search terms, bids, budgets within the agreed plan) happens every week and is covered in your weekly report. Bigger decisions, such as new channels, new campaigns or changes to targets and total budget, are agreed with you first.

07Do you make the ads?

Creative advice is included: what to make, which angles to test and what the results are telling us. Producing the ads is an optional add-on through our AI creative service, quoted up front. Or we brief your own team or creators.

08Can we work alongside our in-house team?

Yes. We can run some channels while your team runs others, or manage everything while keeping your team fully informed. Your accounts and data stay in your ownership either way.

09What if I want to stop?

Give one month’s notice. Everything runs on 30-day rolling contracts. Your ad accounts, tracking and data stay with you, so everything we built keeps running in your accounts. Fees are agreed up front, and there’s no setup fee.
