How we work
AI-native: AI speeds up research, creative testing and reporting, and a senior specialist makes every call.

Shopify makes it easy to connect Google, Meta and TikTok in a few clicks, and just as easy to end up with duplicate purchases, a patchy product feed and ad platforms each claiming the same sale. As a Shopify PPC agency, we fix the foundations first: the channel apps, server-side tracking and your product feed. Then we run Google Shopping, Performance Max, Meta and TikTok ads against the numbers in your Shopify admin, so growth shows up in your orders and margin, not just in the platforms’ reports.

Where we run your ads

(01) Campaign structure

Campaigns built for Shopify growth.

Each channel has a different job. Shopping and search capture people ready to buy, Meta and TikTok create demand with tested creative, and clean Shopify tracking makes sure every platform learns from real sales. This is the structure we’d typically build for a Shopify store.

Shopping & Performance Max

Google Merchant Center & Google Ads
01

Feed optimisation

Product titles, images and attributes improved in your Shopify feed, because the feed decides which searches you show for. See Google Shopping for Shopify.

02

Margin-based structure

Products grouped by margin and best-sellers, each with its own target, so profitable lines get the budget.

03

New-customer acquisition

Performance Max and Shopping set to bid higher for new customers, so growth isn’t just repeat buyers.

04

Brand exclusions

Your brand excluded from Performance Max so it can’t take credit for sales you’d win cheaply in Search.

Paid social

Meta & TikTok
01

Advantage+ sales

Meta’s automated sales campaigns with a steady flow of tested creative and existing customers capped.

02

Catalogue ads

Dynamic product ads from your Shopify catalogue that show people the products they viewed.

03

TikTok & Spark Ads

Creator-style video and Spark Ads on TikTok, built to stop the scroll and drive sales.

04

Promo & launch bursts

Planned pushes for launches, Black Friday and sales, with budget ramped up ahead of peak demand.

Tracking & profit

Shopify, GA4 & server-side
01

Server-side tracking

Shopify orders sent to Google and Meta server-side, so fewer sales are lost to ad-blockers and privacy settings.

02

Profit-based targets

ROAS or POAS targets set from your real margins. Try our MER and POAS calculator.

03

Blended reporting

Results judged on Shopify revenue and new customers, not just each platform’s own numbers.

04

Seasonal planning

Budgets and stock planned together for peaks like Black Friday and Christmas, so you scale when it pays.

The exact mix depends on your margins, catalogue and stock. We agree it with you up front, then shift budget towards what wins the most profitable new customers.

(02) What we solve

Built for shopify challenges.

01

Tracking that quietly double-counts

A channel app, an old theme snippet and a tag manager can all report the same purchase. We check every Shopify store for duplicate and missing purchases before we touch a campaign.

02

Checkout changes break old tracking

Shopify’s newer checkout doesn’t run the old scripts many stores relied on for purchase tracking. Tracking now belongs in Shopify’s customer events and the official channel apps, ideally backed by server-side signals.

03

A feed that syncs, but doesn’t sell

The Google & YouTube app sends your products to Merchant Center, but it can’t write good titles, fill missing barcodes or label products by margin. Shopping and Performance Max are only as good as that feed.

04

Discounts and margins

Sales, bundles and discount codes change the maths on every order. Targets set from your real margins stop a “great ROAS” from losing money on discounted lines.

(03) What we run

Shopify advertising, end to end

  • Google Shopping & Performance Max

Shopping and Performance Max built from your Shopify catalogue and structured by margin, bestsellers and new customers, with brand searches kept in check. See our Google Shopping management and our guide to Google Shopping for Shopify stores.

  • Meta Advantage+ & catalogue ads

Meta’s Facebook & Instagram app connected properly, with the Conversions API on, then Advantage+ sales campaigns for new customers and catalogue ads that show shoppers the products they viewed. More on Meta ads.

  • TikTok ads for Shopify

TikTok’s Shopify app for the pixel and catalogue, then video and catalogue ads that send shoppers to your own store, with creator-style creative that feels native to the feed. More on TikTok ads.

  • Shopify tracking & server-side

One clean purchase signal per platform: the official channel apps, Shopify customer events, Google enhanced conversions and the Meta Conversions API, with server-side tracking where it recovers sales the browser misses.

  • Product feed optimisation

Your Shopify catalogue tuned for Merchant Center and Meta: stronger titles, barcodes and categories, variant data, supplemental feeds and custom labels for margin and seasonality, plus fixes for disapprovals.

  • A Shopify ads audit to start

Not ready for ongoing management? A one-off paid audit checks your Shopify tracking, feed, campaigns and spend against your actual orders, with a prioritised fix list and a walkthrough call.

(04) How it works

From Shopify admin to profitable scale

  1. 01

    Audit tracking, feed & margins

We compare Shopify orders with what each ad platform reports, check the channel apps and feed, and map margins by product, so we know what a profitable sale looks like.

  2. 02

    Fix the foundations, then build

Duplicate tracking removed, server-side signals added where they help, and the feed tidied. Then campaigns are structured by margin and new-customer value across Google, Meta and TikTok.

  3. 03

    Scale against Shopify numbers

Creative and feed testing every month, budget moved to what brings profitable new customers, and reporting built on Shopify revenue and new customers, not platform ROAS.

(05) Measurement

Your Shopify admin is the scoreboard

Every ad platform claims the same sale, so we report against the numbers in your Shopify admin: total revenue, orders, first-time vs returning customers, and what each new customer costs. Platform ROAS helps with steering, but it isn’t the scoreboard. Check your blended picture with our MER and POAS calculator, and see how we report new customers.

Margins drive the targets. Your break-even ROAS is 1 ÷ gross margin, so a 4x can be profitable on one product and loss-making on another. Work yours out with our break-even ROAS calculator, and read what a good ROAS actually is.

Peak season gets its own plan. Black Friday, Christmas delivery cut-offs and the January sales each need different offers, budgets and targets. See our Black Friday plan and Christmas and January sales plan.

(08) FAQ

Shopify questions.

01What does a Shopify PPC agency do?

A Shopify PPC agency runs paid ads for Shopify stores, usually Google Shopping and Performance Max, Meta and TikTok, and looks after the Shopify tracking and product feed those ads depend on. A good one is judged on the revenue and new customers in your Shopify admin, not on platform ROAS.

02Do you build or redesign Shopify stores?

No. We focus on paid advertising, tracking and product feeds. We’ll flag anything on your store that’s holding conversions back, but store builds, themes and SEO are for your developer or a Shopify theme agency.

03Should I use Shopify’s Google & YouTube and Facebook & Instagram apps?

Usually, yes. They’re the simplest reliable way to sync your products and send purchases to Google and Meta. The common problems come from running them alongside old theme code or a second tag for the same purchase, which double-counts sales, so we audit for that first.

04Why don’t my ad platforms match my Shopify sales?

Each platform counts the sales it thinks it influenced, using its own attribution window, so several can claim the same order. Some sales are also missed when browsers block tracking. That’s why we judge performance against Shopify revenue and new customers, and use server-side tracking to recover missed purchases.

05Do I need server-side tracking on Shopify?

Not always. The channel apps already send some data server-side. It’s worth adding when you’re spending enough that missed purchases affect bidding, or you need one clean data stream across several platforms. We’ll tell you whether it pays for itself in your case.

06How much should a Shopify store spend on ads?

It depends on your margins and how fast you want to grow, but around £1,500 a month gives Shopping or Performance Max room to learn on your bestsellers. Work backwards from your break-even ROAS rather than picking a number.

07Can you just audit our Shopify ads?

Yes. Our paid audit checks your Shopify tracking, product feed, campaigns and spend against your actual orders, and comes with a prioritised fix list and a walkthrough call. It’s a good starting point if you already have someone running your ads.
