How we work
AI-native: AI speeds up research, creative testing and reporting, and a senior specialist makes every call.

Entertainment marketing runs on moments: announces, presales, on-sales and premieres where demand spikes fast and inventory is finite. As a PPC and paid social agency for events and entertainment, we combine creative-led social with sharp conversion campaigns and ticketing-level tracking to fill venues, sell out runs and grow audiences that come back. Our founder was previously part of the performance marketing team at Ticketmaster, so we understand on-sales, ticketing data and how fans actually buy from the inside.

(01) Campaign structure

Campaigns built to sell out.

Each channel has a different job. Social builds hype and reaches new fans, search captures people already looking for tickets, and well-timed remarketing turns interest into sales before each deadline. This is the structure we’d typically build for events, venues and entertainment brands.

Paid social

Meta, TikTok & Snapchat
01

Announcement bursts

Budget ramped up around line-up announcements, on-sales and price rises, when interest is at its peak.

02

Creator & artist content

Native video, artist clips and creator content on TikTok and Reels that feel like the event rather than an ad.

03

Fan-based audiences

Past attendees, ticket buyers and engaged fans used to find more people like them, with existing buyers excluded.

04

Deadline remarketing

Price-rise, final-release and last-chance messaging for people who visited the ticket page but didn’t buy. See how to sell more tickets.

Paid search

Google Ads & Microsoft Advertising
01

Event & ticket searches

Campaigns for your event, artist, venue and “tickets” searches, so buyers land on your official ticket page.

02

Brand & reseller protection

Bidding on your own name so secondary sellers and resellers don’t take fans who are ready to buy.

03

Things-to-do searches

Campaigns for “things to do”, “gigs near me” and date-based searches that catch people still deciding.

04

Value-based bidding

Ticket revenue passed back to Google, so bidding favours the searches that sell the most, not just clicks.

Video & audio

YouTube, Spotify & Demand Gen
01

Trailer & aftermovie

Video campaigns on YouTube and Demand Gen that show the experience and build demand ahead of key on-sales.

02

Audio for music fans

Spotify audio and video ads reaching listeners of similar artists and genres.

03

Sales pacing

Daily tracking of sales against your target curve, so budget moves early if sales fall behind.

04

Real sales measurement

Ticketing data connected to the ad platforms, so results are judged on tickets sold, not platform-reported clicks.

The exact mix depends on your event, audience and on-sale calendar. We agree it with you up front, then shift budget towards what sells the most tickets.

(02) What we solve

Built for entertainment challenges.

01

Time-sensitive on-sale spikes

Campaigns paced for launch moments, so spend and creative land exactly when demand peaks.

02

Awareness to conversion

Full-funnel activity that builds anticipation and captures it, from reach to ticket sale.

03

Creative velocity

A steady flow of fresh, scroll-stopping creative to keep social performance from fatiguing.

04

Selling the slower dates

Headline dates sell themselves; slower shows and final tickets don’t. Budget and creative shift to where sell-through needs help.

(03) What we run

Campaigns built around the moment

  • Announce, presale & on-sale

Phased campaigns that build a presale sign-up list at announce, drive urgency at on-sale and push the final tickets, with budget and creative timed to each moment.

  • Creator & fan-led creative

Artist, creator and fan content, Spark Ads on TikTok and fast-turnaround social cuts (from your team, or made by us with our AI creative add-on) that feel native and stay fresh, run through a disciplined creative-testing framework.

  • Video & YouTube

Trailers, live clips and teasers across YouTube and social video to build anticipation, then retargeting viewers the moment tickets go on sale.

  • Audio & Spotify

Audio ads on Spotify reach listeners by genre and taste, which suits music, festivals and live events. More on our programmatic, video & audio service.

  • Fan audiences & retargeting

Past bookers, sign-ups and engaged fans as custom audiences, with lookalikes to find more like them. Usually the most efficient tickets you’ll sell.

  • Ticketing & subscription tracking

Pixel and conversion tracking through your ticketing platform, informed by our founder’s time in the performance marketing team at Ticketmaster, plus subscription campaigns for streaming and media brands that sell on their website.

(04) How it works

From announce to sold out

  1. 01

    Plan the campaign calendar

Announce, presale, on-sale and final push mapped out in advance, with budget phased to each moment and creative ready before demand spikes.

  2. 02

    Launch creative-led full funnel

Awareness, sign-up and conversion campaigns across Meta, TikTok, YouTube and search, each with its own creative, audiences and job to do.

  3. 03

    Optimise to sell-through

Ticket-level data guides daily decisions: budget moves to the dates and audiences that need it, with performance reported per show.

How we measure it · Announce → Interest → Ticket → Sell-through

  1. Stage 1

    Announce

    They hear about it

    Announce and presale campaigns

  2. Stage 2

    Interest

    They sign up or browse

    Waitlists and engaged audiences built

  3. Stage 3

    Ticket

    They buy

Sales tracked from your ticketing platform

  4. Stage 4

    Sell-through

    The event fills

    Spend paced against sales targets

Reach and views don’t fill venues. We judge campaigns on tickets sold. Where your ticketing platform allows, sales are sent server-side, so Meta and Google see every ticket, not just the ones a browser tag catches.

(05) Measurement

Measured in tickets sold

Likes and views don’t fill venues. We measure entertainment campaigns on tickets sold, revenue per date and sell-through against capacity, with platform metrics used for steering. Where your ticketing platform supports it, purchase data flows back to Meta, TikTok and Google so the algorithms optimise towards buyers.

Every show has finite inventory and a deadline, so we report by date and by phase, making it obvious which dates need a push and where budget should move. Keep campaigns on track with our budget pacing calculator, and check returns with the ROAS calculator.

(06) London & the UK

Entertainment marketing in London & across the UK

Brightpace works with promoters, venues, festivals, music, theatre and entertainment brands, from London venues to festivals across the UK, and you work directly with the founder. Paid social is at the heart of most plans, with paid search capturing people already looking for tickets. Planning an on-sale? Our guide to selling more tickets with paid ads covers each phase, from announce to the final push.

For streaming and media brands, the same principles apply to subscriptions: creative velocity, clean tracking and budget that follows what actually converts, planned as one unified media plan.

(08) FAQ

Entertainment questions.

01What does a PPC and paid social agency for events do?

A PPC and paid social agency for events, or entertainment marketing agency, runs the paid campaigns that sell tickets, subscriptions and releases: Meta and TikTok to build demand around announces and on-sales, and Google search and YouTube to capture people already looking for the event. Ticketing-level tracking makes sure budget follows actual sales.

02How do you sell out events?

Full-funnel activity builds anticipation and captures it: presale sign-ups at announce, urgency at on-sale, retargeting of engaged fans and a final push, with budget moved to the dates that need it.

03Do you have ticketing industry experience?

Yes. Brightpace’s founder was previously part of the performance marketing team at Ticketmaster, working in-house as an employee, which gave first-hand experience of running paid media around on-sales, presales, demand spikes and ticketing data. Ticketmaster is not a Brightpace client, and this experience doesn’t imply any partnership or endorsement.

04How do you track ticket sales on third-party ticketing platforms?

We use the pixel and conversion tracking your ticketing platform supports, so purchases are attributed to campaigns and sent back to Meta, TikTok and Google for optimisation. Where tracking is limited, we reconcile against ticketing reports by date. Big on-sales create plenty of demand on their own, so we also look at incrementality (how many extra tickets the ads genuinely sold) instead of crediting every sale to the last ad someone saw.

05Which platforms work best for events and music?

Usually Meta and TikTok for demand and sales, YouTube for video and trailers, Spotify for music audiences, Snapchat for younger crowds and search for people already looking for tickets, weighted to your audience and genre.

06Do you run Spotify ads?

Yes. Audio ads on Spotify let you reach listeners by genre and listening taste, which suits music, festivals and live events, and pairs well with social retargeting.

07How do you keep social creative fresh?

We advise on what to make next (artist and creator content, live clips and fast social edits), whether your team produces it or we do with our AI creative add-on, then test it in a disciplined framework so performance doesn’t fatigue mid-campaign.

08How far in advance should we start advertising an event?

Ideally from the announce, building a presale list and early awareness, with budget weighted toward the on-sale and the final weeks before the date, when urgency and demand are highest.
