(01) Campaign structure

Campaigns built to win qualified applications.

Each channel has a different job. Search captures people comparing products and advisers right now, social and LinkedIn build trust before the need is urgent, and remarketing supports a considered decision. Every ad goes through your compliance sign-off. This is the structure we’d typically build for a financial services firm.

Paid search

Google Ads & Microsoft Advertising
01

Product-led campaigns

Separate campaigns for each product or service, from mortgages and loans to advice and insurance, each with its own budget and landing page.

02

Compliant ad copy

Ads and landing pages written to meet financial promotion rules and Google’s financial services policies, and approved by your compliance team before they run.

03

Optimised to approved applications

Enhanced conversions for leads and CRM outcomes teach Google which enquiries became approved or funded customers.

04

Brand protection

A low-cost campaign on your firm’s name, so comparison sites and competitors don’t take people already looking for you.

Paid social & LinkedIn

Meta & LinkedIn
01

Educational content

Guides, calculators and explainers promoted to the right life stage or business type, building trust before people compare providers.

02

Qualified lead forms

Forms that ask the key qualifying questions up front, so advisers spend time on enquiries that can actually go ahead.

03

LinkedIn for business finance

Business banking, lending and advisory services promoted to owners and finance leaders by company size and seniority.

04

Special ad category setup

Campaigns set up within Meta’s financial products and services rules, with targeting built to stay compliant.

Performance Max & remarketing

Google, YouTube & Microsoft
01

Considered-decision remarketing

Reassuring proof, reviews and FAQs for people who started an application or compared rates but didn’t finish.

02

Lead-focused Performance Max

Run only once offline conversions are flowing, so it chases qualified applications rather than form fills.

03

YouTube explainers

Short video explainers that answer common questions and keep your brand in mind during a long decision.

04

Brand exclusions

Your brand excluded from Performance Max so it can’t take credit for searches you’d win cheaply in Search.

The exact mix depends on your products, regulation and approval process. We agree it with you and your compliance team up front, then shift budget towards what wins the most qualified customers.

(02) What we solve

Built for regulated finance

01

Rules that don’t fit in a headline

Every ad has to comply on its own, however short, and the platforms want proof you’re authorised before anything runs. We plan copy, risk warnings and pages together. More on that below.

02

Expensive clicks, long decisions

Mortgage, pension and advice searches are costly, and people compare several firms. Tight keywords, negatives and location targeting keep spend on people you can actually help.

03

Trust comes first

People are choosing who to trust with their money. Reviews, credentials and clear fees on the pages your ads point to matter as much as the ad itself.

(03) Who we help

Campaigns built by service

  • Financial advisers & wealth managers

High-value, considered decisions. Search campaigns on advice, pension and retirement intent, bidding from what a client is worth over time, with copy your compliance team has signed off.

  • Mortgage brokers

Local, high-intent demand. First-time buyers, remortgages and buy-to-let in separate campaigns, each with its own keywords, pages and the risk warnings mortgage promotions require.

  • Protection & insurance brokers

Life cover, income protection and critical illness. Search for active demand, plus Meta for life moments such as buying a home or starting a family, where the platform’s targeting rules allow.

  • Accountants & bookkeepers

Not FCA-regulated, so simpler to advertise. Local and niche campaigns for contractors, landlords and small limited companies, with a push before the 31 January self-assessment deadline.

  • Business finance brokers

Asset finance, invoice finance and business loans. Search on specific needs, plus LinkedIn for business owners, measured on funded deals rather than applications.

  • Fintech & B2B finance

Software and services sold to finance teams, with LinkedIn for CFOs and finance leaders. See our SaaS and B2B approach.

(04) How it works

From first click to signed client

  1. 01

    Map client economics and sign-off

We start with what a client is worth, how many enquiries become clients and how your compliance sign-off works, so targets and timelines are realistic from day one.

  2. 02

    Verify, then launch compliant campaigns

Platform verification sorted first, then separate campaigns by service and location, with approved copy, risk warnings and pages that carry the detail an ad can’t.

  3. 03

Track to signed client, then scale

Calls and enquiries are tracked, outcomes are fed back from your CRM, and budget moves to the services and areas that win clients.

How we measure it · Search → Enquiry → Qualified → Client

  1. Stage 1

    Search

They look for advice or a broker

    Google Ads on high-intent searches

  2. Stage 2

    Enquiry

They call or fill in a form

Calls and forms tracked, spam removed

  3. Stage 3

    Qualified

    Right needs, right fit

Lead quality fed back from your team

  4. Stage 4

    Client

    They sign up

    Campaigns judged on signed clients

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We follow it through to the client, using offline conversion tracking and call tracking. Enquiries are also sent server-side with enhanced conversions, so fewer go missing.

(05) Compliance

Advertising that respects the rules

Under the FCA’s rules, financial promotions must be fair, clear and not misleading. The FCA’s guidance on social media (FG24/1) makes clear that each promotion must comply on its own, with a balanced view of benefits and risks, however short the format. The Consumer Duty also expects your communications to support customer understanding. So we plan ad copy, required risk warnings and landing pages together, and leave time for your compliance team to sign off.

The platforms add their own layer. Google requires UK financial services advertisers to complete its Financial Services Verification, which for regulated services means being FCA-authorised or exempt. Meta requires financial services advertisers targeting the UK to be FCA-authorised, and may ask you to confirm your FCA registration before ads run. We help you through both. Accountants and bookkeepers usually sit outside the FCA regime, which makes them simpler to advertise, but the ASA’s CAP Code still applies. We’re not your compliance officer, but we build campaigns that make that job easier.

(06) London & the UK

Financial services marketing in London & across the UK

Financial firms rarely sell everywhere. A mortgage broker might cover one town, an advice firm a county, and an accountant for contractors the whole country, so we set location targeting by service rather than leaving it at the whole UK.

In London, advice and mortgage searches are more competitive, so we narrow to the boroughs, postcodes and services where you win most clients instead of bidding across the capital. We work with firms anywhere in the UK, fully remotely. To see what search costs before you start, read what Google Ads cost in the UK.

(08) FAQ

Finance questions.

01What does a PPC agency for financial services do?

A PPC agency for financial services, or financial services marketing agency, runs Google Ads, and often Microsoft Ads and paid social, for firms such as financial advisers, mortgage brokers and accountants. Because clicks are expensive and the rules are strict, the job is mostly control: tight keywords and negatives, platform verification, ads your compliance team can sign off, and campaigns judged on signed clients rather than enquiries.

02Can financial advisers advertise on Google Ads and Facebook?

Yes, once verified. Google requires UK financial services advertisers to complete its Financial Services Verification, which for regulated services means being FCA-authorised or exempt, and Meta requires financial services advertisers targeting the UK to be FCA-authorised. Your firm still signs off every ad, and ads and landing pages must meet the FCA’s rules on financial promotions.

03How much does Google Ads cost for financial services?

Financial keywords are among the more expensive in UK search, and costs vary widely by service and location. Rather than starting from a cost per click, work back from what a client is worth and how many enquiries become clients. Our CPA calculator does the sum for you.

04Do you work with accountants?

Yes. Accountants and bookkeepers usually aren’t FCA-regulated, so campaigns are simpler to launch. We build local and niche campaigns, for example for contractors, landlords or small limited companies, with extra budget before the 31 January self-assessment deadline.

05Do you track enquiries through to signed clients?

Yes. Call tracking (an optional add-on) and lead scoring show which campaigns bring qualified enquiries, and where your CRM allows it we feed signed clients back into the ad platforms, so bidding optimises towards real clients.

06Which financial services don’t you work with?

We don’t run ads for crypto, trading products such as CFDs and spread betting, high-cost short-term credit or debt solutions. The rules and platform restrictions are tight, and the risk to consumers is high.
